Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for polyethylene composite pipes made by extruding and compounding perforated steel strips as the reinforcing framework and polyethylene as the main raw material (hereinafter referred to as composite pipes).
This standard is applicable to pipes used for water supply and drainage at temperatures below 40°C; it can also be used for industrial pipes.
