Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designation of hot-rolled steel strips of carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, acceptance rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates, etc.
This standard applies to hot-rolled steel strips of carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel (hereinafter referred to as "steel strips") with a thickness of not more than 12.00 mm and a width of not more than 600 mm.
