Scope
This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, accompanying documents, and order form content of high-purity antimony.
This document is applicable to high-purity antimony prepared by using industrial antimony as the raw material and through the production processes of chlorination, distillation, hydrogen reduction, vacuum distillation, zone melting, or direct pulling purification.
Note: High-purity antimony is mainly used for preparing Group III-V compound semiconductor materials, high-purity alloys, thermoelectric cooling elements, and as dopants for silicon and germanium single crystals.
