Scope
This standard specifies the terminology for various parts of two-, three-, and four-sided milling machines (hereinafter referred to as machine tools), and, with reference to GB/T 17421.1—1998, stipulates the geometric accuracy inspection and working accuracy inspection of machine tools, and provides corresponding tolerances. It is applicable to machine tools for general use and with ordinary precision. This standard only specifies the accuracy inspection of machine tools and is not applicable to the running tests of machine tools (such as vibration, abnormal noise, and creep of components), nor to the characteristic tests of machine tools (such as speed and feed rate). These tests are generally conducted before the accuracy inspection of machine tools.
