GB/T 11060.5-2010 Natural gas—Determination of sulfur compound—Part 5:Determination of total sulfur content by hydrogenolysis and rateometric colorimetry method
Basic Information
Scope
This part specifies the test method for determining the total sulfur content in natural gas using a hydrolysis rate meter colorimetric method.
This part is applicable to the determination of the total sulfur content in natural gas, with a measurement range of 0.1 × 10-6 to 20 × 10-6 (φ), which is equivalent to about 0.1 mg/m3 to 26 mg/m3; and the measurement range can be extended to higher concentrations by dilution. This part can also be used as an analytical tool for quality control of refined products such as propane, butane, ethane, and ethylene.
This part does not address all safety issues related to its application. Before using this part, it is the user's responsibility to develop appropriate safety and health measures and clearly define its limited scope of application.
