Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, and storage for silver-graphite electrical contacts containing 3%, 4%, 5%, and 10% graphite. This standard applies to silver-graphite electrical contacts (hereinafter referred to as electrical contacts) manufactured by sintering, extrusion, or sintering and re-compression processes. This series of products is mainly used as closing and disconnecting contacts and sliding contacts in low-voltage switchgear devices.
