Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, and storage for silver graphite electrical contacts, and describes the testing methods. This document is applicable to the manufacture of silver graphite electrical contacts using sintering, extrusion, or sintering and re-compression processes. Note: For the sake of clarity, "silver graphite electrical contacts" in this document are referred to as simply "electrical contacts".
