Scope
This standard specifies the measurement methods for the frequency characteristics of ultrasonic diagnostic and monitoring equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment") with a frequency range of 0.5 MHz to 15 MHz. This standard applies to various types of ultrasonic diagnostic and monitoring equipment that operate in continuous wave, quasi-continuous wave, or pulse wave modes. These equipment can be equipped with single-chip transmitter-receiver probes, dual-single-chip transmitter-receiver separate probes, multi-chip plum-blossom probes, mechanical fan-scanning probes, linear probes, convex array probes, and phased array probes, etc.
