Scope
This document presents a method for evaluating the diameter and particle concentration of monodisperse cadmium sulfide (CdTe, CdSe, and CdS) colloidal quantum dots using ultraviolet-visible (UVVis) absorption spectroscopy. This document is suitable for analyzing monodisperse spherical quantum dots with a diameter of 3.5 nm to 9 nm for CdTe, 1 nm to 8 nm for CdSe, and 1 nm to 5.5 nm for CdS.
