This document specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, and test methods for seat belt reminder devices in automobiles.
This document applies to seat belt reminder devices for driver seats and passenger seats in M- and N-class automobiles, as well as seat belt reminder devices for rear passenger seats in M1- and N1-class automobiles. Seat belt reminder devices for other seat positions may be implemented with reference to this document.
