Scope
This part of GB/T 18233 specifies the general cabling for server rooms and access rooms in data center complexes, or for data centers in other types of buildings, including balanced cabling and fiber optic cabling.
This part is primarily applicable to buildings with a maximum telecommunications service distance of 2000m. Systems with longer distances can be referenced for use.
The cabling system specified in this part supports a wide range of applications, including audio, data, and video, as well as power supply.
