Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) content for titanium tetrachloride.
This standard applies to titanium tetrachloride produced by chlorination and refining processes using titanium-rich materials such as rutile and high-titanium slag. This product is suitable for the production of sponge titanium and related chemical products.
