Scope
This section sets out the following requirements: to prevent physical damage to buildings by adopting a lightning protection system (LPS), and to avoid the risk of life caused by contact and step voltage near the LPS. This section applies to: a) the design, installation, inspection, and maintenance of LPS for buildings of any height; b) the provision of protective measures against personal harm caused by contact and step voltage.
