Scope
This part stipulates the basic principles for introducing environmental factors into electrical accessories products (hereinafter referred to as products).
This part applies to the design of new or improved products.
The products covered by this part include electrical conduits and groove pipe systems for cable management, household cable reels, household and industrial plugs and sockets, household switches, household appliance couplers, low-voltage circuit connectors, and other products in new or improved development and design.
The purpose of this part is to control their environmental impact at the product design stage.
