Scope
This part stipulates the basic principles for introducing environmental factors into switch products (hereinafter referred to as switches) of fixed electrical devices for household and similar purposes.
This part applies to the design of new or improved products.
The switches of fixed electrical devices for household and similar purposes applicable to this part include rotary switches, toggle switches, rocker switches, button switches, pull-cord switches, touch switches, proximity switches, light-controlled switches, voice-controlled switches, and other external sensing switches.
The purpose of this part is to control the environmental impact of products at the design stage.
