Scope
This document specifies the general requirements, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking and accompanying documents, packaging, transportation, and storage for extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation systems used in buildings, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to the production and application of materials for thin plaster external insulation systems using extruded polystyrene as insulation materials, precast concrete insulated external wall panel systems, floor insulation systems, and roof insulation systems.
