Scope

This document specifies the measuring instruments, procedures, and reporting methods for determining the linear dimensions of hard plastic samples.
This document is applicable to the samples specified in GB/T 37426—2019 and/or other samples with a thickness ranging from 0.4 mm to 6.4 mm.
Note: For the measurement of sample sizes of semi-hard materials (with a Young's modulus of 70 MPa to 700 MPa), please refer to Chapter 7 of GB/T 2941—2006.
