Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for user-plane positioning terminals and mobile positioning platforms oriented towards the Internet of Things (IoT) in terms of system architecture, business support capabilities, interface signaling, and message flow. This document is applicable to positioning service systems in IoT applications in digital cellular mobile communication networks such as GSM/CDMA, WCDMA/TD-SCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR.
