Scope

This section specifies the classification and designations, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, inspections and tests, packaging, markings, and quality certificates of hot-rolled billets and steel strips made from duplex steel.
This section applies to hot-rolled steel strips made from duplex steel with a thickness of not more than 6 mm, as well as the steel plates cut transversely from these strips and the longitudinally cut steel strips, hereinafter referred to as steel plates and steel strips.
