Scope

This section specifies the classification and designations, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, inspections and tests, packaging, markings, and quality certificates of hot-rolled steel plates and strips with high expansion properties.
This section applies to hot-rolled steel strips with a thickness of no more than 6 mm that have high expansion properties, as well as the steel plates cut transversely from these strips and the longitudinally cut steel strips, hereinafter referred to as steel plates and strips.
