Scope
This standard specifies the method of determining the fiber content in mixtures of polyoxadiazole fibers and other fibers using chemical analysis methods. This standard is applicable to mixtures of polyoxadiazole fibers and protein fibers (such as wool, silk, etc.), cotton, flax, ramie, regenerated cellulose fibers, polyester fibers, polyamide fibers, polyvinyl alcohol fibers, polyacrylonitrile fibers, certain modified polyacrylonitrile fibers, spandex, acetate fibers, triacetate fibers, polylactic acid fibers, polyethylene fibers, aramid 1414, polyimide fibers, and carbon fibers.
