Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection requirements, test methods, and packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for the corrosion protection coating of broadcasting and television steel towers and masts. This document is applicable to the corrosion protection coating used in the manufacture and maintenance of steel towers and masts such as broadcasting towers, television towers, and microwave towers, including the steel masts of concrete broadcasting and television towers. It is also applicable to the coating processes of hot-dip galvanizing, hot spraying zinc, aluminum and its alloys, and anti-corrosion coatings.
