Scope

This document specifies the geometric accuracy, numerical control positioning accuracy, and repeat positioning accuracy of horizontal milling and boring machines with a movable column and a fixed worktable along the X axis, as well as the inspection methods and corresponding tolerances for work accuracy.
This document is applicable to general-purpose, ordinary-precision horizontal milling and boring machines with a movable column and a fixed worktable (hereinafter referred to as the machine).
This document only addresses the inspection of machine accuracy. It is not applicable to the operational inspection of machines (such as vibration, abnormal noise, and creep of moving components) or to the inspection of machine characteristics (such as speed and feed), which are typically conducted prior to accuracy inspections.
