Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, and transportation of sodium-based bentonite composite waterproofing pads.
This standard applies to waterproofing and anti-seepage projects in the fields of environment, water conservancy, transportation, and construction, using sodium-based bentonite as the main raw material and produced by needle-punching, needle-punching with film coating, and adhesive methods (referred to as GCL).
This standard does not apply to sodium-based bentonite waterproofing pads used in situations involving seawater.
