Scope
This part of GB/T 20139 specifies the test procedures required for the heat resistance evaluation of electrical insulation systems (EIS) components after adjustment, which have been classified into grades. This part applies to EIS using coiled windings. The test procedures in this part are used to compare the performance of the insulation system to be evaluated with that of the reference insulation system. According to IEC 60505, the reference insulation system should have proven operating experience, or it should have been evaluated according to one of the test procedures in the IEC 61857 series of standards.
