Scope

This standard specifies the method of crimping test for determining the plastic deformation capability of circular cross-sectional metal tubes. Except for the provisions of relevant product standards, this standard is applicable to metal tubes with an outer diameter not exceeding 150 mm and a wall thickness not exceeding 10 mm.
