GB/T 17248.1-2022 Acoustics—Noise emitted by machinery and equipment—Guidelines for the use of basic standards for the determination of emission sound pressure levels at a work station and at other specified positions

Scope

This document introduces the framework of the basic standards ISO 11201, ISO 11202, ISO 11203, ISO 11204, and ISO 11205 for measuring the sound pressure level at the working position and other specified positions, which are used to guide the following matters:
——Assist in writing noise test specifications;
——Provide a physical explanation for the noise emission quantity compared with other noise quantities (see 4.1~4.3);
——Compare the different measurement methods given by the ISO 11201~ISO 11205 set of standards (see Table 1);
——Help select the most suitable method in typical practical situations (see Chapter 6).
This document is mainly based on flowcharts and tables, and provides example analyses.
This document is only applicable to airborne sound, which is commonly used in noise testing, especially for the preparation of noise test specifications.
The purpose of formulating a standard noise test specification is to select the most suitable standard from the ISO 11201~ISO 11205 set of standards for testing a certain type of mechanical equipment, and to provide detailed requirements for the installation conditions and working conditions of specific categories of mechanical equipment, as well as the positioning of the working position and other specified positions specified by these standards.
The data obtained by the above methods can be used to meet the requirements for the indication and verification of the sound pressure level emission specified in ISO 4871[3].
