GB/T 32738-2016 Soil mapping—Specifications for digitizing soil maps at the scale of 1∶50 000 and 1∶100 000

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the working base maps of 1:50,000 and 1:100,000 soil maps, database naming rules and attribute data structures, digitization operations, product inspection, and product management. This standard applies to the collection, updating, and database construction of 1:50,000 and 1:100,000 vector soil maps using the scanning vectorization method for paper soil maps, and also applies to the production of digitized products of soil characteristics thematic maps using this method. This standard does not apply to the collection, updating, and database construction of vector soil maps using digitization methods based on aerial photographs or remote sensing images to delineate soil boundaries.
