Scope
This standard specifies the method of determining sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides in gases using ultraviolet differential absorption spectroscopy. This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides in standard gases, industrial gases, ambient air, and other gases. The measurement range for sulfur dioxide is 0.2 mg/m3 to 5,000 mg/m3, the measurement range for nitrogen monoxide is 0.3 mg/m3 to 5,000 mg/m3, and the measurement range for nitrogen dioxide is 2 mg/m3 to 5,000 mg/m3.
