GB/T 21355-2022 Non-destructive testing—Industrial computed radiography with storage phosphor imaging plates—Classification of systems
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the basic performance parameters of computer radiography (CR) systems, with the aim of obtaining economical and reproducible test results that meet the requirements. This technology is based on fundamental detection theory and experimental measurements. This document specifies the performance of computer radiography (CR) systems and the corresponding performance parameter measurements of the system scanner and storage phosphor imaging plates (IPs). This document establishes the classification of CR systems and dedicated industrial radiography metal screens to ensure that the image quality (which is influenced by the scanner-IP system) meets the requirements of ISO 16371-2. This document is related to the requirements of film radiography technology specified in ISO 11699-1.
This document defines the test methods for different grade systems and specifies more complex measurement tests to accurately determine the system performance parameters. This document is applicable to the classification of systems from different suppliers, enabling users to obtain horizontally comparable data for their equipment. These tests are designated as manufacturer's tests, some of which require special instruments that are not generally available in user laboratories. Therefore, this document also specifies relatively simple user tests for quickly testing the quality and long-term stability of CR systems.
Factors affecting CR image quality include geometric blur, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), scatter ratio, and contrast sensitivity. Other factors (such as scanning parameters) affect the laser scanner's accurate reading of the images on the exposed IPs.
This document describes the manufacturer's test methods for most accurately determining the system quality elements. To ensure the quality in use, this document describes individual test methods recommended for actual users. These tests can be performed independently or using CR module tests (see App
