Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of raw muga silk yarn (hereinafter referred to as "muga yarn"). This standard applies to the quality assessment of muga long-fiber yarn produced by ring spinning machines, which are twisted into strands for use in handover and acceptance procedures.
