Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of raw silk yarn (hereinafter referred to as "ramie yarn") and polyester-ramie blended raw silk yarn (hereinafter referred to as "polyester-ramie yarn"). This standard applies to the quality assessment of long-fiber pure ramie yarn and polyester-ramie blended yarn produced by ring spinning machines, and serves as a unified standard for acceptance and inspection during handover.
