Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of hydrogen fuel for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) in automobiles, the purity of hydrogen, the requirements for impurity content in hydrogen, and the analysis and testing methods thereof.
This standard applies to the quality requirements of hydrogen fuel for proton exchange membrane fuel cells in automobiles.
Note: The molecular formula of hydrogen is H2. The relative molecular mass is 2.015 88 (according to the 2007 International Atomic Mass Table).
