Scope
This document specifies the classification and marking of steel sections for concrete pipe joints, their cross-sectional shapes and dimensions, general requirements, technical specifications, testing methods, inspection rules, ordering and delivery, as well as packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This document applies to steel sections for joints used in reinforced concrete drainage pipes, prestressed steel-cylinder concrete pipes, and non-prestressed steel-cylinder concrete pipes.
