Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of easily removable powder on the surface of medical rubber gloves. Method A is applicable to "powdered" gloves, while Methods B and C are applicable to "powder-free" gloves. This standard does not address safety issues related to powder on the surface of gloves, nor does it specify limits for residual powder on the surface of gloves. Medical gloves made from non-rubber materials are not applicable to this standard.
