Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the physical properties of dry-mixed mortar, including the organic matter content, the consistency of fresh mortar (using the jumping table method), the density of fresh mortar, the air content of fresh mortar, the flexural and compressive strength of hardened mortar, the water absorption of hardened mortar, the tensile bond strength of hardened mortar, the lateral deformation of hardened mortar, and the shrinkage of hardened mortar.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the relevant physical properties of dry-mixed mortar.
