Scope
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry determination method for the residue levels of triazines herbicides such as atrazine, simazine, and propazine, and benzimidazole herbicides such as chlorimuron and mepiquat in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of triazines and benzimidazole herbicide residues in irrigation water, surface water, and groundwater in agricultural fields. The detection limits of this standard are: 0.05 μg/L for propazine, and 0.25 μg/L for atrazine, simazine, chlorimuron, and mepiquat.
