Scope

This standard specifies the chemical analysis methods for alumina-silica refractory materials. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of combustion loss, silica, alumina, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, potassium oxide, sodium oxide, manganese oxide, phosphorus pentoxide, zirconium oxide, and chromium trioxide in alumina-silica refractory materials. The measurement range is shown in Table 1.
