Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, marking, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, and packaging and labeling for silk twined yarns. This standard applies to the quality assessment of silk twined yarns with a twist count of less than 1,500 twists/m, made from 2 to 9 strands of raw silk, and with a nominal fineness of 49 denier (54.4 dtex) or less.
