Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general provisions, detection of lightning protection devices, detection instruments and methods, detection operation requirements, and technical reports for the detection of lightning protection devices in urban metro transportation. This standard applies to the completion inspection of new metro lines and regular inspections of existing lines. For other forms of urban rail transit, such as light rail, monorail, trolleybus, magnetic levitation, automatic guidance, and urban rapid rail systems, the detection of lightning protection devices can be carried out in accordance with this standard. This standard does not apply to metro vehicles that are stopped or running on the main line and the connecting lines to and from the depot.
