Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for the installation of hot water storage tanks in thermal power plants, mainly including the models and parameters of the hot water storage tanks, the structure of the tank body, pressure regulation and safety protection, thermal measurement and interlocking control, insulation and anti-corrosion, prefabrication and installation, and testing. This document applies to cylindrical steel atmospheric pressure hot water storage tanks based on the principle of oblique temperature layers. Cylindrical steel cold storage tanks can be referenced for implementation. This document does not apply to pressurized hot water storage tanks.
