Scope

This document specifies the system composition, technical requirements, and inspection and testing requirements for small multi-rotor drone inspection systems used for overhead transmission line inspections. This document is applicable to small multi-rotor drone inspection systems that conduct visible light and infrared inspections of AC and DC overhead transmission lines. Other types of multi-rotor drone systems can be implemented with reference to this document.
