Scope

Isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IDMS) is in principle only suitable for determining the content of multi-nuclide elements or their compounds. For those elements that are single-nuclide elements but can find long-lived radioactive isotopes as diluents, they can also be measured by this method, such as iodine. This specification is applicable to the analysis and measurement of inorganic component quantities by isotope dilution mass spectrometry. The measurement of organic component quantities by isotope dilution mass spectrometry can be carried out for reference.
