Scope
This guidance technical document is applicable to the design and calculation of adjustable pitch propeller blades for various types of engineering vessels, including dredgers, tugboats, rescue ships, marine surveillance ships, fishery administration ships, and offshore engineering ships. However, the design of adjustable pitch propeller blades for non-main propulsion systems in dynamic positioning and in troughs is only for reference purposes.
