Scope

This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of marine electric gear pumps used for transporting lubricating oil, heavy diesel (fuel oil), and other lubricating oils that do not contain hard particles or fibers. The transported oil temperature should not exceed 150 °C, and the viscosity range should be 5×10-6 m2/s to 1.5×10-3 m2/s.
