Scope

This document describes the method of determining the free calcium oxide in fly ash by the glycol-EDTA titration method. This document is suitable for the determination of free calcium oxide in fly ash from coal-fired power plants, with a measurement range of 0.01% to 4.00%. When the mass of the sample weighed is 1.0000g, the method's detection limit is 0.0025%, and the measurement lower limit is 0.01%.
