Scope

This document is applicable to the determination of the content of 73 impurity elements in lanthanum oxide, cerium oxide, praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, samarium oxide, europium oxide, gadolinium oxide, terbium oxide, dysprosium oxide, holmium oxide, erbium oxide, thulium oxide, yttrium oxide, and scandium oxide. This document is not applicable to the determination of impurity elements in cerium oxide, praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, and samarium oxide. For instruments with ion source components made of tantalum, it is not applicable to the determination of gold and tantalum in all rare earth oxides.
