Scope

This standard is applicable to the extraction of semi-volatile organic compounds and non-volatile organic compounds in soil and sediments, including organophosphorus pesticides, organochlorine pesticides, chlorinated herbicides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), phthalates, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), etc. For details, please refer to Appendix A. If validated, this standard can also be applied to the extraction of other organic compounds in soil and sediments.
