Scope
This part of GB/T 17416 specifies the method for determining the zirconium-hafnium content in zirconium ores by the photometric method of dimethylphenyl orange.
This part is applicable to zirconium ores, and also to the determination of the zirconium-hafnium content in other rare metal ores.
Measurement range: 0.010% to 2.0% (mass fraction) zirconium-hafnium content [calculated as zirconium-hafnium oxide content].
