Scope
This part of GB/T 17416 specifies the method for determining the amount of zirconium and hafnium in zircon ores by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
This part is applicable to zircon ores, and also to the determination of the amount of zirconium and hafnium in other rare metal ores.
Measurement range: 0.001 6%~8.7% (mass fraction) of zirconium (calculated as zirconium dioxide); 0.003 4%~3.0% (mass fraction) of hafnium (calculated as hafnium dioxide).
